Performer Internship Program
We are very excited to introduce the *NEW* Performer Internship Program!
If you are a movement based performer ready to participate in this aquatic fairy tale and are eager to bring the IMF patrons out of reality by immersing them in a world of art, color, and inspiration with parades, flash mobs, interactive experiences, pop-up parties, and artistic scenes played out to catch the imagination and leave a smile – then we invite you to fill out the application below and join our fun!
Imagine Festival is providing an opportunity to aspiring professionals to embrace this incredibly fun and professional festival experience to put on their resume, educational workshops to enhance their performance ability, raise their overall credibility, acquire media after being made up by our character creation station with body painters and costuming, gain a higher percentage of future bookings, and the chance to benefit from the education and networking opportunity of working in this professional environment filled with experts who just may invite them to future experiences!
All of our 2017 paid performance spots have been filled. If you missed out on one of these slots, this is your chance to still join the aquatic dream. Interning this year may place you on our email list for the private application/invitation next year.
Performers will be Provided:
o 1 GA Ticket For Their Own Entry to Festival
o 1 GA Camping Pass
o Access to FREE Showers with Plumbing & AC
o Access to Bathrooms with Plumbing & AC
o Private Performer Lounge Area with Snacks and Refreshments
o Performance Based Workshops
o Access To A Life Changing Networking Opportunity & Behind The Scenes Look Inside The Production of a festival
Performers will gain experience in themed costuming as they will need to prepare (2-4) themed costumes according to their assigned roles for the day. Imagine Festival will be providing costume add-ons for artistic uniformity as well as a body painting department to bring your costume to the next level!
This will be a work exchange program where performer interns will be taking on (2) 10 hour days of the festival performance industry.
- Check in and initial costume/make up preparation
- Roaming performance time
- Break to go to their camp for dinner
- Performance Meetings
Additional Workshops that will take place outside of this time.
All Performer Interns will need to submit a $200 deposit that will be refunded 30-45 days after the festival if they have completed their full assigned shifts. This is to insure responsibility and to make sure performers do not disappear into the crowd once they have received their free ticket of a $300 value.
